Environmental Statement<\/h2>\n

Perennials advocates for caring of the environment as a major part of its company culture, and is committed to producing textiles in an environmentally responsible way. The water used during the fiber manufacturing process is purified and returned to its natural source. Environmentally friendly natural gas provides the energy needed to generate steam and electricity for multiple aspects of the fiber production. Waste is safely recycled through incineration, with the heat being used as an additional energy source for our steam network. Water used in the finishing of our products is purified, which allows for 50% of the water to be used for such things as landscape irrigation and 50% to be recycled back to the finishing process for reuse.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

All Perennials fibers and fabrics are independently lab tested and are certified so they comply with or exceed industry standards including resistance to soil, water, UV radiation, tearing and abrasion. Inherently resistant to rot, mold, fungal decay and even small insects, Perennials solution-dyed acrylic fibers are able to maintain their beauty, even in the harshest of environments. Because Perennials fibers are solution-dyed, the color permeates to the core, enabling Perennials to confidently offer a three year warranty against fading.<\/p>\n

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100<\/strong> \u2013 Perennials fabrics meet the human-ecological requirements of the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.<\/p>\n

REACH<\/strong>\u00a0(Registration, Evaluation, Authorization & Restrictions of Chemicals)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Perennials solution-dyed acrylic meets all REACH regulations, and is certified that none of the substances listed in any published candidate list, particularly N, N Dimethylformamide, is present in the fiber in a concentration higher than 0.1% by weight.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

CFSI (Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Perennials certifies that no conflict minerals (gold, tungsten, tin and tantalum) are knowingly used in the production of all fibers, yarns, fabrics or finishes. Conflict minerals are those mined in areas or countries with known conditions of armed conflict and\/or human rights abuses.<\/p>\n

PFOA \/ PFOS free<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Perennials certifies that all fabrics and finishes are free of perfluorooctanoic and perfluorooctanesulfonic acids.<\/p>\n

Performance Finish \u2013 <\/strong>is a non-hazardous soil-resistant finish.<\/p>\n

California Technical Bulletin 117-2013<\/strong>\u00a0– all Perennials 100% solution-dyed acrylic upholstery fabrics pass the standard for this requirement, with NO fire-retardant chemicals added to any part of the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n
