The Kips Bay Dallas Show House<\/a> brought together the best of the best of Texas design. Designers from all over the state converged on Dallas, bringing with them an array of perspectives and styles. Dallas-based designer Sherry Hayslip<\/a> took on the upstairs loft area in the house. She transformed the room into a functional art gallery, showcasing an array of local artists. Hayslip designed a custom sectional for the loft, using Swanky <\/a>in Sea Salt for the base. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Tracy Hardenburg<\/a> designed the indoor\/outdoor Screen Porch, a chic eclectic entertaining space complete with cigar tables. Hardenburg’s special touches included hand-painted chairs and a stunning tequila bar. The Dallas-based designer also used Perennials’ Cadence <\/a>quality in Desert Rose to adorn the arched windows. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Chad Dorsey<\/a> is known for his contemporary yet comforting spaces, and his kitchen design for Kips Bay Dallas is no exception. Dorsey transformed a dark traditional kitchen into a bright modern space. Dorsey included a chic nook to enjoy a cafe au lait, utilizing Perennials’ On the Lamb<\/a> in White Sands for the built-in sofa. A perfect (bleach-able) solution to white dining upholstery!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Austin-based interior designer Marcus Mohon<\/a> created a dreamy Breakfast Lounge filled with unexpected accents and rosy hues. “The style woven throughout this room evokes the feel of a boutique hotel lounge,” explains Mohon. He designed a beautiful sofa upholstered in Whippersnapper<\/a> in Desert Rose, anchoring the romantic space. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
